Applications (tvboxd & cineboxd): Our applications operate primarily client-side. We use The Movie Database (TMDB) API to fetch metadata, poster images, and details about movies and TV shows. Depending on how you use our web apps (e.g., using local browser storage or logging in via third-party integrations like Trakt or TMDB), your user preferences, watched history, and watchlists may be stored locally on your device or synced directly with those third-party services. We do not host central databases that store your personal media consumption logs or passwords.
